Break Your Diet Once in A While
I know, I know, you’re trying to eat healthy and are counting by the calorie for everything you eat. Or you’re too busy, so you eat the same things time after time. One day, during lunch time at work, go out and treat yourself to a gourmet sandwich or or something a little nice. Whatever catches your fancy.
Switch OFF the TV
Read a book or go jog outside. Or meet up with a friend. Try something new instead of just lazing in front of the TV.
Be Honest to Yourself
You can’t be happy or in an upbeat mood all the time. Don’t try to force yourself to hide your emotions or pretend you’re feeling otherwise. Sometimes, it’s better to not beat yourself over it and just be honest with how you’re feeling and take time off to relax. You can’t be Super Man or Super Woman all the time.
Talk to Your Parents
Call your parents or go over for dinner and talk to them. Like really talk to them. About anything. Our parents are not going to be here forever and in the race of life, we sometimes neglect the people we love the most. Even if you share a complicated relationship, still make the effort. You’d be surprised at how they respond.
Sit in Silence For 10 Minutes
Either we’re dwelling on the past or we’re too focused on the future. But what we fail to realize our present is ALREADY HERE. Sitting in silence not only relaxes you, but it will help you stayed tuned to the present and cleanse your mind.
