I believe that when there is a gap between what your heart desires and what you are actually doing, it can create unhappiness and frustration. Have you ever did something knowing fully well it was not what you wanted to do?
Later, it turned out true. You couldn’t pinpoint exactly what was speaking to you, but if you had followed the feeling, you would’ve been happier.
A specific situation in my life comes to mind. I remember a job I took on in 2010.
I went to the interview and met with the hiring manager. He was the only person who interviewed me and right afterwards, I got the job. I went home and announced it to my parents. They were elated!
But…something didn’t feel right. From the outside, it seemed perfect. Maybe I impressed the heck out of him. Maybe I was just at the right place at the right time.
But my Intuitive Energy Kept Telling Me Otherwise…
Something wasn’t right. Even during the interview, my hands were shaking slightly. My heart was beating fast. Not the good kind. But a nervous, erratic beating. My body was responding to my inner wisdom. It was telling me: Don’t take the job.
But I did Take the Job
Without going into detail, I did take the job. And I also resigned within two weeks. The man was crazy to put it lightly and made me feel uncomfortable. I knew why my inner wisdom kept telling me to not take thejob. To top it off, I had received another offer, but I let that one go to take this offer.
Looking back, I realize the value of developing an intimate relationship with your inner wisdom. It’s like your own cheerleader or mentor always guiding you. That magnificent love-fueled energy is always there in you to help you in making your decisions.
How do you develop an intimate relationship with your inner wisdom? Please share with me in the comments!
