If you’re not sure about the guy, but you’re not ready to call it off either, give him time to see where things go. You’ll be able to spend more time and make a more concrete decision this way.

However, another thing I would recommend is setting a deadline. In the interest of time, set some time you to take some step one way or the other. It’s also only right to value his time.

Keep an Open Heart

When you go on dates with him, really keep your heart open. Make sure you’re not letting past emotional baggage clutter your mind. Ensure you’re really giving him a chance. Because if you’re not keeping your heart open, then whatever he does won’t make a difference to you. Give him a real chance by making yourself a tad vulnerable.

Gauge the Level of Physical and Emotional Attraction

Evaluate how much physical chemistry you have with him. You should also see how emotionally compatible you are with him. After all, these are the core dynamics of a successful relationship.

Be Honest to Yourself

Lastly, it’s perfectly normal to feel not sure about a guy you’re seeing. Give yourself time. But if after an extended time period, you still feel this uncertainty, then perhaps it’s time to move on. Whatever you’re feeling, be honest and real to yourself. Honor your emotions.
