“Eventually all the pieces fall into place….until then, laugh at the confusion, live for the moment, and know that everything happens for a reason”- Carrie Bradshaw in Sex and The City
Have you felt this way? Chances are many, many times! This especially happens when you are at the cusp of entering a new phase in your life. Your feet are still entrenched in the current one and you know your life is taking you somewhere, but it’s all just one big question mark.
This quote takes me back to my college days. Fortunately, I had a wonderful time at UC Davis. I made great friends, studied some, ditched a whole lot of classes, partied, and all in all those were the most carefree days of my life.

Last Year of College, What Next?
In the last year of college, graduation date loomed. On top of it, I was graduating a year earlier. I had worked hard to graduate a year earlier and was proud of myself, but I wouldn’t be able to graduate with my friends.
I had no idea what was next. How was working going to be like? What was life going to be like when I moved home again? I shuddered.
The First Year of Living at Home After Graduation wasn’t Easy…
Gosh, it just wasn’t a great year! It was not easy adjusting living at home after I had so much space in college. I also couldn’t drive, so my freedom was restricted. Furthermore, I wanted to be with my friends in college. Look back though, I realize everything fell into place the way it was meant to.
I took on a job at Yahoo! soon after and to date, it has been my funnest job. I started dating, exploring, and opening myself to new experiences. And boy, it has been a fun journey. Now that I am heading into a brand new phase once again, this time I do it filled with gratitude, embrace the confusion, and live for the moment. All the pieces will fall into place anyway 😉
