This is an interesting question. I consider myself to be an ambitious woman. I’ve always dreamed big and had a clear vision for my life. But I’ve also always had a side that is very simple at its core and wants to enjoy the simple pleasures in life.

What does a man prefer more? Does a man like an ambitious woman? Does he appreciate your dreams and desires?

The Right Man Loves Your Ambition

I believe the right person will appreciate your dreams and desires. Through out my dating experiences, I’ve noticed most of the men were drawn to me because I had an ambitious side. They liked I was a woman whose life didn’t revolve around theirs. That I had a purpose in life.

But I’ve also dated a guy or two who wanted me to not be so ambitious. He thought I should shrink myself so he can look better than me.

I believe that whether I want to be a house wife or run a successful business, this should be entirely my choice.

Stay True to Your Vision No Matter What

Keep moving forward to live your life the way you wish. If your guy feels like you shouldn’t be pursuing your goals, then it’s time for you to evaluate your relationship. Maybe you should have a honest conversation with him and say you will support his desires and you want him to do the same for you. But live your life according to your terms. The right person will love that about you.

Strike a Balance – Be Emotionally Present for Your Man and Loved Ones

Remember that being ambitious does not mean you don’t carve out time for your man and loved ones.

Make sure you support them and are emotionally present for them. The fulfillment of your ambition won’t mean much if you won’t have your man and loved ones there to enjoy the beautiful moments with you.
