A Guy is Not a House or Project to Fix

February 14, 2015 by Priyanka Leave a Comment

Do you have your eyes set on a guy? Do you really like him, but don’t like everything about him? Are you trying to change him to fit your perceptions and standards?

A Man is Not a House to Fix

A Man is Not a House to Fix

A Man is Not a Project

But a man is not a project or house to fix. He is not your personal project. How many times does a woman do this? They try to change the man to fit her personal tastes and notions of what an ideal man is.

Well, the man can smell that and if he gets a whiff of what you are trying to do, he won’t like it.

Think about it for a moment. If a man was trying to do the same, you probably wouldn’t like it either.

Let the Man Evolve Naturally

Instead of trying to “fix” him, why not let the man evolve naturally? I’m not saying that you have to like everything about him. What I am saying is you have to accept and embrace everything about him, including his flaws. See the beauty in his flaws, too.

Rather than making him your personal project, focus on your own life and making yourself the best possible version you can for yourself. That’s a lot of energy to put into a man. You want him to evolve on his own, by his own accord and decision.

Uplift Him to Do His Best

You can instead inspire him to do and be best. You can both uplift each other to reach one another’s highest potential.
