Stop Caring What Others Think and Focus On Yourself Instead

September 9, 2014 by Priyanka Leave a Comment

When I had found myself or my family going through challenging experiences, the realization who were the people who genuinely cared for me became crystal clear.

Found Myself Isolated…

There were times when I found myself isolated from the very people who I thought I could count on. My initial reaction was feeling immensely angry, disappointed, and sad. I do want to clarify here that I understand everyone has their own lives that keep them busy and absolutely do not expect anyone to solve anything or put forth solutions in my life.

What I mean is very simple. I wanted to simply emotionally express myself to them. Instead, I found them to be saying things behind my back or cutting me out from their lives.

The Universe Cleansing My Life…

Looking back, I am incredibly happy it happened. It was the Universe’s way of taking them out and leaving only the precious people who cared for me in my life. It was like the Universe was cleansing my life. When the right people stayed, I was able to focus on my life. And boy, it brought out my best!

And frankly, I also stopped caring about what others said. If they didn’t matter to me, then why should I care?

Some things I learned along the way:

  • The People Who Care will Remain in Your Life
  • The Ones Who Do Not will Wash Away
  • Stop Focusing on Others’ Opinions and instead Focus on Yourself
  • Be Happy & Thankful with the Beautiful Life and Loved Ones Present in Your Life

Have you had a similar experience like me? How did you deal with it? Please share with me in the comments.
