Your twenties are an important decade and often it even sets the tone for the coming years. Here are some smart moves you can make in your twenties!
Seize Opportunities
Your twenties is a time where you have freedom and choice. Chances are you don’t have much responsibility at this point, so if a fabulous opportunity comes your way, take it up!
It’s a chance for personal growth.
Save Money
This is something I personally do. I save over $10,000 a year through simple measures. It has served me well for personal and family reasons. I used it to travel to Mumbai, India on a month-long film and media program. Recently, I used it to set up this website and having my novel edited by a professional.
Another reason to save is for sensitive situations. I have used it for my family purposes as well.
Learn the Value of Forgiveness
It’s amazing how much baggage and pain people carry through their lives. Learn to forgive – you don’t even need to tell the other person. Learn to let go of this baggage and even forgive yourself. Don’t hold onto your painful experiences. Take the lesson and move forward.
Travel
This is the perfect time to travel and experience so many places. This is one thing on my to-do list. I would like to spend time traveling the world.
Minimize Use of Technology
Recently, I have minimized watching television and using my iPhone. You become so caught up in this technology that you forget to live in the moment you have been given. I’m surprised how much I have discovered and relaxed after I stopped clinging to this technology.
