The last couple years, due to my father’s stroke, our financial situation dramatically changed. My family was an emotional mess dealing with the aftermath. And then to top it off, several bills needed to be paid that my father usually took care of.

Start Paying Off Your Bills Even When You’re Not Sure About the Money

I heard over and over in my family: How are we going to pay the bills? This did no good to us. It only perpetuated the belief that we’re coming from lack.

Through my self development work this year, I shifted my perspective on money. In nature, there is an abundance of water, leaves, fruits, etc. I realized I could have an abundance of money. We belief strongly in our lack of money, but why not believe strongly we have more than enough money we could possibly need?

Belief is everything. It sets the intention and manifests your desire and vision into reality. One way to start believing you have more than enough money is to start paying off bills or debts.

Creates the Feeling of Having Money

I started off paying the small bills we had accumulated. Once I did, I felt fabulous. But it did far more than that. It created the feeling of me being prosperous and having lots of money. And then something strange happened:

My inner guidance whispered to me: You are a child of this Universe and there is always more than enough of what you need.

All I have to do is tap into that beautiful, divine power and graciously receive and use it for your and others’ highest good.

Create Space for the Money to Flow In

When you have a closet filled with old clothes, there is no room for you to put your new clothes in. This is just the case for every area of our life. Until you don’t let go of the lesser, the greater won’t come in. If a relationship isn’t making you happy and bringing out your best, let it go. Create space for a beautiful, uplifting relationship to enter.

This realization finally hit me for money as well. Large amounts of money wanted to shower on me, but how would it if I didn’t pay off the bills and debts first? I was clearing the way for prosperity to drop into my life.

Come from Love, Not Fear

Often, money and fear are interlinked. I have thought about money from a feeling of fear all my life. Not this year. Money comes from a divine source and when you learn to tap into your own inner goodness, there is an unlimited supply of money. Money can come from multiple sources, in ways and from places we never even knew existed.

One of the things I learned this year was to look at money with love. It is a law of the Universe that whatever we give our attention to either increases or decreases, regardless of whether it’s a good thing or not. So I started to look at my bank balance with love and appreciate the amount no matter what.

When I take care of my bills, I thank money for what it has given me. For example: If I pay my electricity bill, then I thank the money for providing me with warmth and comfort in my household.

Whatever you love will automatically grow. Visualize what you want and come from a place of love in your heart.
